How to measureStand against a wall in bare feet and measure from the floor to the top of the head. Some suits also come in half sizes (3.5/165cm, 4.5/175cm and so on), which sit midway between the sizes above. Cotton suits shrink on a hot wash, so wash cold and hang to dry. If you're between sizes, size up.

Hard and heavy.
I dont know what they have done, but this Jo was hard and heavy as steel, smooth and balanced. Best quality wood ever. And for this price i was not expecting this.

for £8.99 you can't really go wrong
Firstly let me point out that I paid £8.99 for this Jo! For the price I would say it is well worth it. I have used more expensive ones from other leading sites and I can say that the wood quality is a little poorer than others and the ends are not as rounded as some. The finish isn't as smooth either but the thing is it was £8.99! I think this is perfect for a starter/practice Jo, a good weight, good balance and great price.
