Kung Fu Slippers Black (with rubber soles)
I've only had these for a few days so I'm giving them 4 rather than 5 because I don't know how well they will last. Having had the Blitz cotton-soled kung fu shoes before, I wanted sturdier slippers that wouldn't stretch so much and that I could use to walk on damp floors or ground. So far, these seem excellent: very comfortable, with stronger material in the uppers than the others had, and a firmer feel. So it seems less likely that they will stretch.

light and with a good fit
Confession. I don't do any martial arts. I just want a simple shoe that I can run around in and feel in touch with the earth/pavement/floorboard etc. So I like a light thin sole.

If the shoe fits!
Having recently set up new Tai Chi classes, I realised I needed to upgrade my tattered old Kung Fu shoes. In a bit of a hurry, I purchased a pair from Martial Art Shop. Not only did they arrive promptly, after an easy payment process, they fit as though they were sculpted round my feet! Teaching lots of classes and practising often means wearing my new shoes often - but they're so comfy I really don't mind. They've even been worn for a Tai Chi class outdoors. Excellent product!

A bit heavy
These are noticeably heavier that my old ones, with a much thicker sole. I do not think this is necessary. On the plus side they are well made and I expect them to last a long time.
