How to measureStand against a wall in bare feet and measure from the floor to the top of the head. Some suits also come in half sizes (3.5/165cm, 4.5/175cm and so on), which sit midway between the sizes above. Cotton suits shrink on a hot wash, so wash cold and hang to dry. If you're between sizes, size up.

Shorts should be hand washed cold and drip-dried for maximum longevity.
The improved pattern gives the shorts more flexibility and mobile with nicer fitting.
Originally, the Samurai armour is made of black-lacquered iron plates tied together. The armour was surprisingly flexible, allowing its wearer to move freely. The armoured skirt, called a kusazuri, shields the thighs, while the arm coverings combine protective chain mail with fine silk. The armour symbolizes honour, valour, and loyalty. The samurai comprised less than 10% of the Japanese population, but their teachings are still observed in everyday Japanese life and in modern martial arts.
