Drop Earrings in the style of Japanese 'Sai' carefully handcrafted in Sterling Silver
A miniature 'Sai' weapon is delicately suspended from a ball and post fitting with butterfly back. For pierced ears only.
Each 'Sai' measures 4mm x 12mm. Both earrings weigh 3 grams and have great movement.
As a numbered piece, the jewellery is supplied in a presentation box together with a certificate of authentication.

'Sai' - a long or short handled trident used as a weapon for striking and bludgeoning, it's use was perfected in 1668 by 'Moto Chei' an Okinawan prince.
The unique shape of the Sai with the two pronged hilt, has the advantage during combat as it can trap the opponents weapon in these prongs and disarm them. Even weapons as large as a sword can be disarmed.
